Dr. Ashish Soni

MD, Nephrology Associates of Nashville

Dr. Ashish Soni graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Biology. He completed his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. At East Carolina’s Brody School of Medicine, he competed both his Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Interventional Nephrology training. In 2006, he returned home and joined Nephrology Associates in Nashville, TN. He has been serving as president of the group since 2016.

Dr. Soni is board certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He is also a Hypertension Specialist recognized by the Americal Society of Hypertension. Dr. Soni has sat on many healthcare boards including Interwell Health and Ascension TN ACO Board. He is a member of Renal Physicians Association, American Society of Nephrology and American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. Dr. Soni and his practice was honored with the 2019 RPA Exemplary Practice of the Year Award.

Dr. Tim Pflederer graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Agriculture and then completed medical school there as well. He completed both internal medicine and nephrology training at the University of Iowa. He then joined RenalCare Associates in Peoria, IL where he has served as President since 2012. He is board certified in nephrology, focusing on both general and interventional nephrology.

Dr. Pflederer is the Immediate Past President of the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) and has served as President of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN). He has been involved in leadership of Illinois’ Renal Network Medical Review Board, the Forum of ESRD Networks, and other industry medical advisory boards.
